Expert Commissions meet from 31 March to 2 April in Salzburg

Salzburg (FIL) From Thursday, March 31 to Saturday, April 2, 2022, the FIL Expert Commissions will meet in Sankt Leonhard near Salzburg (AUT).
In the Sport Commission for Artificial Track, Commission Chair FIL Vice President Claire DelNegro and Sport Director Maria-Luise Rainer will discuss the season review, the Olympic rules and the sport calendar for the winter 2022/23 as well as the applications for the IRO changes, the applications for FIL Championships and the use of judges.
The chairman of the Technical Commission for Artificial Track is FIL Vice President for Technology Armin Zoeggeler and his deputy is the still FIL Technical Director Christian Eigentler. On the agenda for the meeting, apart from the follow-up of the past season, are above all the IRO changes, the standardisation of sleds and their component groups with regard to higher safety and the innovations in training and competition racing shoes by GTS.
The Natural Track Commission will meet under the direction of the responsible FIL Vice President Peter Knauseder. In addition to the season review and the IRO changes, topics include the World Cup calendar for the coming season, the future and development of natural track luge as well as marketing opportunities and much more.
