Berchtesgaden (pps) The Executive Board of the International Luge Federation (FIL) will convene in Berchtesgaden, Germany, for a two-day meeting on Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26. On the agenda are vital decisions regarding the upcoming Olympic season including preparations for the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, Canada, the amounts of prize money to be paid in the upcoming season (both artificial and natural track luge), flight subsidies that will be granted by the FIL to National Federations, FIL doping controls, and the employment of officials at luge competitions.
Next to that, the Executive Board will also deal with the qualification criteria for the 2012 Olympic Youth Games in Innsbruck and the acceptance of new members.
