Umhausen (PMA) World Cup Finals host Umhausen was the spot for the Austrian and German National Championships in Luge on Natural Track. The titles went to the favourites. Austrian Men’s Championship was won by Thomas Kammerlander. After two runs he was only three hundredths in front of Michael Scheikl. Florian Glatzl finished third in front of his head coach Gerald Kammerlander. Fifth place went to another former World Champion, Robert Batkowski. Tina Unterberger celebrated a victory at the Ladies event. She also scored a tight win with a lead of 15 hundredths after two runs. Her young team mate Maria Auer took the second place in front of Christina Götschl. Doubles championship was won by Rupert Brüggler and Tobias Angerer. German National titles went to the same family at the Men’s and Ladies event. Georg Maurer and his sister Michaela are the champions after two competition runs. Doubles German title was won by Maxi Leiner and Maxi Seidl.
