Fendt and Fogelis visit Australia’s Luge President Hannah Campell-Pegg

Sydney (RWH) Australia Luge President Hannah Campell-Pegg has received the visit of the International Federation (FIL). In Sydney President Josef Fendt (GER) and Sekretary General Einars Fogelis (LAT) met the two-times Olympian. They discussed the common cooperation plan including the qualification process for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing (CHN).

Hannah Campell-Pegg (37) herself competed 2006 and 2010 at the Olympic Winter Games and finished both times in Turin (2006) and Vancouver (2010) on 23rd place. She became Australia's third athlete to ever do so behind Diane Ogle (1992 Winter Olympic Games Albertville, France) and Roger White (1994 Winter Olympic Games Lillehammer, Norway).

Fendt and Fogelis visited Australia to take part in SportAccord, the annual meeting of all international sport federations, which was held this time at Australia’s Gold Coast in Queensland.
