FIL appoints Andreas Castiglioni Sport Director Natural Track

Berchtesgaden (RWH) The search of the International Luge Federation for a new Sport Director for Natural Track was successful. The steering committee of the FIL supported the proposal of Peter Knauseder, Vice President Natural Track, and appointed Andreas Castiglioni for this position. The Italian is the successor of Chris Karl, who was in charge since 2014. This was now published by the FIL office in Berchtesgaden.

Castiglioni, who runs his bid after a public tendering procedure of the FIL, was in former times a successful athlete. The 37-year-old South Tyrolean was 2005 World Championships silver medallist and won European Championships silver the year before.
