Berchtesgaden (pps). The Congresses of the International Luge Federation (FIL) for the next two years have been awarded. The 56th FIL Congress will take place in Calgary, Canada, in 2008. In 2010, Vancouver, Canada, will be the venue of the Olympic Winter Games.
In 2009, the Czech Luge Federation will look back on 100 years of luge sport in the Czech Republic. For this reason, the 57th FIL Congress 2009 was awarded to Liberec/CZE.
