FIL decides mid-April about date of FIL Congress

Berchtesgaden (RWH) The International Luge Federation (FIL) will make mid-April a decision whether the date of the congress should be kept in June 15/16, 2020. “Should it be necessary to postpone the FIL Congress, we will inform you of the new date in May,” the FIL Office in Berchtesgaden informed in a circular letter to all national federations. “On the part of the FIL office and the FIL management, but also on the part of the German federation, BSD, the preparations for the FIL Congress continue according to plan.”

In the circular letter the FIL Office informed about the effects and the resulting measures within the FIL due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic. “The FIL continues to operate at full capacity,” it was told literally. The entire Presidium, the Executive Board, as well as the artificial track and natural track directors continue to be reachable and are available to answer questions and provide information.
