Sochi (pps) In the presence of IOC President Thomas Bach the Executive Board of the International Luge Federation, FIL, held a minute of silence for the late Nodar Kumaritashvili.

Flower arrangements from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), of the 2010 Olympic Games Organizing Committee in Vancouver (VANOC) and the FIL were placed in Whistler where the Georgian luger died at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver on February 12, 2010.

Already at the start of the IOC Session in Sochi, Russia, on February 5, there was a minute’s silence for Nodar Kumaritashvili.
