IOC President Jacques Rogge announced his visit
Lausanne (pps) The President of the International Olympic Committee, IOC, Jacques Rogge of Belgium, will attend the Executive Board Meeting of the International Luge Federation, FIL. On Thursday (September 16), the IOC President will thus be present during the opening of the FIL Meeting in Lausanne.
Items on the agenda of the first Meeting following the FIL Congress in Sochi, Russia, in June will be, among others, the appointment of further members to the different commissions, the allocation of the 2012 FIL Junior World Championships (artificially-iced track) and the 2012 FIL European Championships (natural track), as well as a report on the state of affairs with regard to the 2012 Youth Olympic Games that will be carried out in Innsbruck, Austria.
