Setting the course ahead of the new luge season
Bucharest (pps) The Executive Board of the International Luge Federation, FIL, took some important decisions to set the course ahead of the start of the new luge season. In Bucharest the focus was on the homologation process and the current state of affairs for the Viessmann Luge World Cup final in February 2013 on the new artificially refrigerated track of the Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia, as well as on the World Cup events in natural luge at the same venue.
Together with Sorin Batu, President of Romania’s National Luge Federation, and Secretary General Florin Ticu the Executive Board members also met Ioan Dobrescu, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Romania.
