Brunneck (FIL) Dr. Bernd Wohlfahrt (Germany) and Dr. Hildegard Miller (Austria) are the new members of the Medical Working Group of the International Luge Federation (FIL). This was decided by the FIL Executive Board members at their spring meeting held in Brunneck, Italy, from April 29 to 30.

The Executive Board members chaired by President Josef Fendt drew a positive balance from the reform package the FIL had implemented in artificial track luge in the past season. Treasurer Harald Steyrer expressed his satisfaction with regard to the discipline in financial spending practiced by the FIL in the past accounting year.

Besides the draft 2005/2006 budget, the Executive Board members also discussed the preparations for the 53rd FIL Congress in Cesana and the Olympic luge competitions, several motions for awards with the FIL medal of honor, and other issues.
