FIL Executive Board met in Lausanne on May 11-12, 2023

Lausanne (FIL/13 May 2023) The Executive Board of the International Luge Federation (FIL) met on Thursday, May 11 and Friday, May 12 in Lausanne /Switzerland.

FIL President Einars Fogelis informed the Executive Board about current issues and developments. The Vice Presidents Artificial Track Claire DelNegro, Natural Track Sorin Buta and Technical Armin Zoeggeler reported on the last Commission meetings.

Further topics were the preparations for the 71st FIL Congress on June 17-18, 2023 in Bucharest/Romania, including the candidates for the new election of the Vice President Finance, the examination of the bids for FIL Championships until 2027 as well as the motions of the Commissions to the Executive Board.

Furthermore, the application of Nigeria for admission as a provisional member of the FIL was dealt with and further measures for the implementation of the FIL Strategic Plan "Slide 2026" were discussed and approved.
