FIL family mourns the death of Adalbert "Wett" Mayregger

Igls (FIL) He was a judge from the very beginning. Already at the 1976 Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck-Igls, Adalbert "Wett" Mayregger was on duty in the luge competitions.

On November 16, 2021, the master plumber, tinsmith and glazier from Igls (Austria) passed away peacefully in the circle of his family at the age of 94 and after a fulfilled life.

The FIL family mourns the loss of a loyal functionary and companion. FIL Honorary President Josef Fendt expresses his deepest condolences to the Mayregger family on behalf of the luge family: "Wett was such a fine guy. I met him very often at the races in Igls and appreciated him very much. We offer our heartfelt condolences to his wife Christl, the children, grandchildren and the whole family!"

Holy Mass for Adalbert Mayregger will be celebrated by the parish on Friday, 26 November at 2pm in the Igls parish church. Afterwards the funeral will take place at the church cemetery in Igls.
