Innsbruck (RWH) There was a great deal of interest in the media training for athletes and coaches offered by the International Luge Federation (FIL) during the International Training Week (ITW) in Innsbruck, Austria.

The aim of the training was to prepare participants for dealing with journalists from all types of media. The session also included examples of good conduct for television appearances. The speaker was radio journalist and presenter Gerhard “Willi” Willmann, who has also made a name for himself as track commentator at the artificial ice track in Königssee.
