FIL Medical Commission now has six members

Riga (RWH) Two more doctors have been appointed to the Medical Commission of the International Luge Federation (FIL). At its meeting in Riga (LAT), the FIL Executive Board also appointed Dr Eugene Byrne as the Medical Doctor for Anti-Doping Matters. The American is now responsible for all functions relating to anti-doping for the FIL Medical Commission.

Dr Lutz Kistenmacher (GER) and Dr  Ruslan Simashvili (RUS) were newly appointed to the commission alongside Dr Byrne and the existing members Dr Jörg Ellermeyer (GER), Dr Zane Kruse (LAT), and Dr Alex Mitterhofer (ITA).
