FIL mourns the death of Hans Georg Münchmeyer

Berchtesgaden (FIL) The FIL family mourns the death of Hans Georg Münchmeyer. The Chairman of the support association of the Luge Federation of Thuringia e. V. and former base coach in Oberhof, Hans-Georg Münchmeyer fell asleep for good on April 28, 2021, after a brief bout with cancer.

The 72-year-old "Schorsch", as his colleagues called him, was active in FIL youth work in the late 1980s and early 1990s and thus also rendered outstanding services to the international sport of luge.

The FIL family wishes the family, especially his wife Adelheid, a lot of strength for the difficult time.
