FIL President Fendt hosts Chinese delegation

Berchtesgaden (RWH)  A delegation from the Chinese Luge Association paid a visit to the headquarters of the International Luge Federation (FIL) in Berchtesgaden while the Chinese national team attended a training camp on the artificial ice track at Koenigssee.  FIL President Josef Fendt welcomed the Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Association, An Linbin, and China’s head coach Wolfgang Schädler from Liechtenstein.

The main topic under discussion was the development of the Chinese Luge team ahead of the 2022 Winter Olympics, which are set to be staged in the Chinese capital Beijing, along with an array of logistical questions related to future joint projects. The parties also discussed the possibility of the FIL providing assistance with the construction of the future Olympic track.
