Ljubljana. (RWH) The president of the International Luge Federation (FIL), Josef Fendt of Germany, has visited the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Slovenia. In Ljubljana the former world champion met Dr. Edvard Kolar, the secretary general of the National Olympic Committee (NOC). Fendt was accomponied by ilan Sirse, the president of the national luge federation. Main parts of the talks have been the support and the development of luge in Slovenia. Goal is the participation of a team of Slovenia at the next Olympic Winter Games 2018. The possibility of the realisation of a World Cup in natural luge was discussed as well. Member of the talks have been vice president Klemen Reo and CEO Vili Rakovec.
