FIL Summer Luge Cup Ilmenau cancelled

Ilmenau (FIL) The FIL Summer Luge Cup on the "Wolfram Fiedler" luge track in Ilmenau (GER), which has been a proven tradition for 27 years, has to be cancelled for September 2020 due to the corona pandemic. This was announced by the RodelClub Ilmenau (RCI) on August 11, 2020.
Vice chairman of RCI, Bernd Roßmann, explains the cancellation: "The implementation of the necessary hygiene regulations exceeds the possibilities and personnel resources of the club. The necessary personnel strength was no longer achieved due to the cancellation of several employees.”
