Best times for Hüfner, Möller and Leitner/Resch
Königssee (pps). Germany’s two times World Champions David Möller and Tatjana Hüfner as well as Olympic Champions 2002 Patric Leitner/Alexander Resch dominated the final training to Viessmann luge World Cup.
At the first artificial track of the world at Königssee (GER) Tatjana Hüfner with 48,123 seconds was the fastest athlete in the final training. Second place went to Ewelina Staszulonek (48,246) from Poland followed by Austria’s Nina Reithmayer (48,442).
Two-time World Champions David Möller realized the best time in men’s race in 47,346 seconds followed by his team-mate Jan Eichhorn (487,445) and Italy’s two time Olympic Champion Armin Zöggeler (47,540).
The final training of the doubles was dominated by local heroes Patric Leitner/Alexander Resch (47,622) followed by their team-mates Tobias Wendl/Tobias Arlt (47,823) and Austria’s Olympic Champions Andreas Linger/Wolfgang Linger (47,868).
