Quotes:

Andre Florschütz (GER / World Champions 2001 and 2005)
„We just believe in our start at Turin when the coaches have officially told us. But we are able to race best times on the Olympic track at Cesana. Today we used runners we used only once before. This was a good choice. “

Christian Oberstolz (ITA / Defending World Cup Champion)
„First place would have been better, because in this case we would have got back the leadership in the overall standings. The final at Oberhof will be exciting.”

Oswald Haselrieder (ITA)
„We are a little bit disappointed; we thought we could slide better. But there have been some mistakes. “
