Quotes:
Andre Florschütz (GER / World Champion 2001 and 2005)
„We had nothing to loose after being a half of a second in training behind Leit-ner/Resch. We worked until midnight on our runners. We don’t want to repeat the story from 2001. We won the title in the preolympic winter, but didn’t compete at the Olympics, because we didn’t qualify.
Patric Leitner (GER / Three-times World Champions and Olympic Champion 2002)
„I was totally disappointed, but at least it was a happy end. We dominated the whole week, but made our first mistake in the first run. But since today we found our sledge for the Olympics.
Mark Grimmette (USA / Olympia-Zweiter 2002 und Olympia-Dritter 1998)
„In the upper section we dialed a pretty good line, but I think we should have relaxed and layed back in the lower part of the track.“
