Former luger Julian von Schleinitz wants to score points with artificial intelligence at the "Sporthilfe Start-up of the Year"

Together with his business partner, the six-time junior world champion wants to bring in-house solutions for the use of artificial intelligence, machine learning and data security to medium-sized companies with "bavarian ai".
"For two-thirds of German SMEs, a lack of know-how is a very big obstacle to the introduction of artificial intelligence. We want to show that German engineering and AI are very compatible," says von Schleinitz, who successfully completed his Master's degree in Chemistry and Physics of Materials at the University of Salzburg and is currently working and researching as a PhD student in Data Science at BMW Motorsport.
For the "Sporthilfe Start-up of the Year", the business ideas of seven current or former sponsored athletes will be put forward in a two-stage pitch. First, there will be a public online vote on the Deutsche Sporthilfe website (www.sporthilfe.de/startupdesjahres ) from 16 to 26 February, after which the participants will present their business idea to a jury of seven experts. Both results flow into the overall result in equal parts. The award is endowed with the DKB Founder's Premium of 12,000 euros.
