FIBT Vice-President Kwang-Bae Kang visits FIL Office together with governor of Province of Gangwon
Berchtesgaden (pps) Kwang Jae Lee, governor of the South Korean province of Gangwon, and Kwang-Bae Kang, Vice President International Affairs of the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (FIBT) as well as Sports Director of the PyeongChang 2018 Bid Committee, visited the Office of the International Luge Federation (FIL). On this occasion, they discussed South Korea’s Olympic candidature and the further development of luge in Korea together with FIL President Josef Fendt. The 37-year-old Kwang-Bae Kang participated in four Olympic Winter Games in three disciplines and reached rank 31 in Nagano (luge), rank 20 in Salt Lake City (skeleton), rank 23 in Turin (skeleton) and rank 19 in Vancouver (four-men bobsleigh).
