Free tickets available for the Youth Olympic Games Gangwon 2024

Salzburg (FIL/15 Nov 2023) Tickets for all competitions of the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) Gangwon 2024 are free of charge and can be reserved via the following link: https://tickets.gangwon2024.org/en/ .

Tickets are available for the luge competitions on Saturday, January 20 (women's singles and men's doubles), Sunday, January 21 (men's singles and women's doubles) and for the Team Relay on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. The Olympic luge competitions will be held at the Pyeongchang Alpensia Sliding Center, which also hosted the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games.

The Opening Ceremony of the YOG Gangwon 2024 will be held simultaneously at the PyeongChang Dome and the Gagneung Oval on Friday, January 19 at 8 p.m. local time. The ceremony will feature the lighting of the YOG flame, performances by K-pop stars, and a parade of the participating young athletes.

From January 19 to February 1, 2024, around 1,900 of the world's best young winter sport athletes from an expected 81 National Olympic Committees will take part in the first Winter YOG in Asia.
