Innsbruck (pps) On the occasion of the 33rd General Assembly in Innsbruck, Austria’s Luge Federation, ÖRV, elected its Executive Board for the upcoming three years. Friedl Ludescher was unanimously elected as President to his now fourth consecutive term. By now Friedl Ludescher has been controlling the fate of Austria’s federation for nine years. He will now have the chance to further promote and implement the objectives of the successful federation in the upcoming three years. Among them two ventures to especially promote young athletes. The one is about the high performance centre natural track in Winterleiten (Styria), the other is about setting up a new artificially-refrigerated track in Bludenz (Voralberg) for the young luge athletes.
