Innsbruck-Igls (pps) On November 27-28, the Olympic luge track of 1964 and 1976 in Innsbruck-Igls will not only host the first event of the 34th World Cup season. Simultaneously, it will be the 29th edition of a Viessmann World Cup. Last year, the winners on the artificially-iced track at the foot of the Patscherkofel mountain were Germany’s Natalie Geisenberger and Armin Zoeggeler of Italy in the singles’ events. Patric Leitner-Alexander Resch of Germany earned the victory in the doubles. The title team relay event in 2009 went to Canada.
