Cesana Pariol (pps) Approximately eight months after his last competition at the 2006 Olympic Games in Torino, Georg Hackl is returning to the artificially-iced track at Cesana Pariol. This time he will be acting as expert for the German TV station ZDF. Together with commentator Sven Voss the three-time Olympic champion will analyse the World Cup opener to be transmitted during the sports shows on Saturday (09:50-15:20 hrs CET) and Sunday (10:15-16:00 hrs CET).

Eurosport commentator Uli Jansch will present the second heat in the women’s event on Saturday (live from 10:00-10:45 hrs CET) as well as the doubles’ events on Sunday (delayed 13:15-13:45 hrs CET) on Saturday.
