German squad claims Team Relay event in Innsbruck and 25th Victory

Innsbruck (RWH) Germany’s luge team won the last event of the Viessmann Luge World Cup in Innsbruck, Austria, on Sunday. The squad with Dajana Eitberger, Andi Langenhan and Toni Eggert-Sascha Benecken claimed the podium’s top spot at the Viessmann Luge World Cup Team Relay presented by BMW. It was the 25th success of Germany in the Team Relay since the 2010-2011 season, when the event was included within the World Cup program.

Latvia’s team with Eliza Cauce, Arturs Darznieks and Andris Sics/Juris Sics earned a second place finish. Italy with Sandra Robatscher, Dominik Fischnaller und Ludwig Rieder-Patrick Rastner claimed the third place.
