Park City (pps) Concluding the Viessmann Luge World Cup event in Park City, USA, the German squad of head coach Norbert Loch with Natalie Geisenberger, Felix Loch and Tobias Wendl-Tobias Arlt won the Team Relay event and thus earned their 17th victory since the 2010-2011 season when the Team Relay became part of the World Cup program.

The U.S.Squad with Kate Hansen, Chris Mazdzer und the doubles of Matthew Mortensen-Preston Griffal earned a second place finish. Austria with Nina Reithmayer, Wolfgang Kindl and Andreas Linger-Wolfgang Linger finished in third position.

Germany is in the lead of the overall Viessmann Luge World Cup rankings with 339 points ahead of the U.S. team (290) and Italy (280)), who earned a fifth place result in Park City.
