„In Winterberg I can compete with the best drivers – that makes me feel positive. For me, the team competition is very important, because I drive for my nation. I would be glad, if this competition would become part of the Olympic program.”
Christian Oberstolz (ITA / Overall World Cup Winner 2004/2005 at the Doubles)
„We are not satisfied with our run but we are glad about the silver medal. Nevertheless it was a good test for us. Now we know, how it works here.”
Martins Rubenis (LAT / Silver medallist at World Championships 2003 and Bronze medallist at World Championships 2004):
„We are very satisfied. For us it is the first medal at an European Championship. If the weather does not change, it was a good test for the race on Sunday.“
