On Saturday (November 22), an average of 1.25 million spectators followed the decision in the women’s singles event. This translates into a market share of 16.3 per-cent for the public German TV station ARD. On Sunday (November 23), an average of 1.70 million luge fans saw the broadcast of the men’s event. Thus, the market share of 18.6 per-cent had been higher than for the broadcast of the women’s cross-country ski relay from the World Cup in Norway with 17.4 per-cent.
