Park City (pps) USA`s Olympic silver medalists Mark Grimmette/Brian Martin are back. The defending World Cup Champions won the qualifying for the 4th Viessmann Luge World Cup on their hometrack in Park City. Grimmette/Martrin missed the first three races due to a injury of Mark Grimmette. Ashley Hayden won the women`s race. The winner of the men`s race was like the week before John Myles (USA).
The final round for doubles on Friday reached Grimmete/Martin, Marshall Savill/Winston Davis (CAN), Preston Griffal/Daniel Joye (USA), Sam Edney/Lewis Gwyn (CAN) and Eugen Radu/Robert Taleanu (ROM).
Qualified for the women`s race on Saturday are Ashley Hayden (USA), Courtney Zablocki (USA), Julia Clukey (USA), Alexandra Rodionova (RUS), Madison Dupuis (CAN), Regan Lauscher (CAN), Monica Gorham (CAN), Meaghan Simister (CAN), Julia Anashkina (RUS), Anna Maria Petrascu (ROM), Anne Abernathy (ISV) und Anahita Panjwani (NOR).
