
Historic Junior Overall World Cup wins for Germany and New Zealand
Kindberg (PMA) - German Theresa Maurer and New Zealands Jack Leslie are the Junior Overall World Cup winners on natural track. While Leslie is securing his title with a second place, Maurer scores a straight victory at last Junior World Cup held at Kindberg in Austria. Both are winning the first crystal globes for their countries. Only Italy, Austria, Russia and Poland won the Overall World Cup so far.
Theresa Maurer leaves no doubt at Kindberg. She sets the fastest times in both competition runs and secures her third season victory. She wins ahead of Italian Alexandra Pfattner, who also finishes second at the Overall World Cup. Third and fourth place at Kindberg went also to Italy and Camilla Singer and Daniela Mittermair. Mittermair ends up third in the overall classement.
Florian Markt from Austria ist the fastest junior of the day and he wins the fourth World Cup at Kindberg. Jack Leslie from New Zealand finishes second ahead of Philip Haselrieder from Italy. Leslies biggest opponent Fabian Achenrainer ends the race on fourth place. He is loosing the Overall World Cup by only 15 points against the kiwi.
