Holger Hendrich named Thüringen’s “Referee of the Year”

Erfurt (RWH): Holger Hendrich has been awarded the title Referee of the Year in the German state of Thüringen. The 58-year-old, who, alongside Thoms Zimmermann, has been in charge of Viessmann World Cup races in Oberhof for many years, received his award at the illustrious “Ball des Sports” event in Erfurt. The same event also saw Olympic champion Kristina Vogel (track cycling) and Thomas Röhler (javelin) receive the honour of “Athletes of the Year” in Thüringen.
Holger Hendrich, from RSV Zella-Mehlis, has also been an active referee for the International Luge Federation (FIL) for many years.
