Honors: Golden medal of honor for lawyer Dr. Christian Krähe

Großgmain (FIL) During its 68th World Congress, which was organized as a video conference, the International Luge Federation, FIL, awarded honorary medals of the FIL to deserving personalities. The award for merits in gold was presented to the Chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee, Dr. Christian Krähe from Münster (GER). With this award, the FIL honors the many years of honorary work as Chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee. The Legal Advisor was elected for the first time in June 1994 at the FIL Congress in Rome (ITA) to head the FIL Legal Affairs Committee.

Wolfgang Harder received the FIL's Silver Medal of Honor for 24 years of FIL press work and Gerhard Kirchner for 14 years of sled technology at the highest level for international athletes. 

Wolfgang Merrbach, Dieter Rudolph, Joachim Mätzel, Dipl. Med. Rudi Vonau, Thomas Zimmermann, Hans-Jürgen Köhne, Wolfgang Ros, Dmitry Kasatkin, Artemiy Rodionov, Dr. Natalia Sedykh and Holger Hendrich were awarded the bronze medal for their services to the sport of luge. The certificates and medals will be handed over personally later.
