Innsbruck-Igls (pps) Host Nation Austria earned two God Medals at the Juniors World Championships on the home track if Innsbruck-Igls. While Thomas Steu–Lorenz Koller in doubles and Austria’s team relay won the titles, the other two Gold Medals went to Italy’s Sandra Robatscher and Toni Gräfe from Germany.

Robatscher won Gold in front of her team-mate Andrea Vötter; both will represent their home country at the Olympic Winter Games next Week in Sochi (Russia). Bronze went to Germany’s Julia Taubitz. In Men’s single Germany earned Gold and Silber with Toni Gräfe and Christian Paffe. Russia’s Alexandr Stepichev picked up third place. Steu-Koller won Gold in doubles followed by Italy’s Florian Gruber-Simon Kainzwaldner and Florian Löffler-Manuel Stiebing from Germany.

Austria in the line-up with Nina Prock, David Gleirscher and Steu-Koller captured the title in the team relay. Silver went to U.S.A. with Summer Britscher, Tucker West and Justin Garret Krewson / Tristan Joshua Jeskanen followed by Russia with Lilia Burmistrova, Alexandr Stepichev and Evgeny Evdokimov / Alexey Groshev.
