Istanbul (pps) The artificially refrigerated track in Innsbruck-Igls at the foot of the Patscherkofel Mountain will host the 47th Luge World Championships of the International Luge Federation (FIL). The decision was finalized at the 61st FIL Congress in Istanbul, Turkey. Innsbruck-Igls will thus organize its fifth World Championships after the editions in 1977, 1987, 1997 and 2007.
