IOC Athletes' Commission on Beijing 2022
Lausanne (IOC/FIL) On Tuesday 5 October, the IOC Athletes' Commission (AC), led by its Chair Emma Terho, held a teleconference with more than 70 athlete representatives from the International Winter Olympic Federations and National Olympic Committees (NOCs) to discuss the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.
IOC President Thomas Bach and the Chairman of the Beijing 2022 Coordination Commission, Juan Antonio Samaranch, participated in the conference call as special guests and informed the athlete representatives about the status of preparations in Beijing.
Additional accreditation quotas for athlete support staff will be introduced for the NOCs for Beijing 2022.
