IOC connects athletes and fans with #StayStrong campaign

Olympische Ringe

Lausanne (RWH) The International Olympic Committee IOC in Lausanne (SUI) has launched the #StayStrong campaign that features 100% athlete-generated content (AGC) from around the world – showing how athletes connect with people during the uncertain time with the COVID-19 pandemic and serve as sources of inspiration and hope. The campaign is about engaging and connecting the general public with great AGC with the purpose of raising the spirits of Olympic fans.

The International Luge federation (FIL) encourages all its athletes to post and share cheering and inspiring content on Social Media with icetrack sports fans around the world. The hashtag #StayStrong is for messages of solidarity/inspiration and how athletes are staying connected as so many shelter in place. With #StayActive athletes showcase their at-home workouts whilst in isolation and inspirational message of how to work out during these real-time changes. Using #StayHealthy, athletes invite people to take the necessary steps to stay healthy – prevention, washing hands, social distancing etc.
