IOC Coordination Commission paid fourth visit to Beijing 2022

Beijing (RWH) The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Coordination Commission for Beijing 2022 paid its fourth visit to the next Winter Olympics host (17-19 July).

As the IOC said in a press release, the Commission with Chair Juan Antonio Samaranch praised the significant positive impact made from creating opportunities for 300 million Chinese people to get involved in winter sport, the sustainability initiatives as well as the benefits from the on-going implementation of Olympic Agenda 2020.

Amongst others, representatives from each of the seven International Winter Sports Federations attended the visit. The International Luge Federation (FIL) was represented by President Josef Fendt (GER) and Secretary General Einars Fogelis (LAT)
