IOC President Bach valorises opening day of luge events at YOG

Lillehammer (RWH) The visit of the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Thomas Bach from Germany, valorised the opening day of the luge events at the Lillehammer Youth Olympic Games. The 1976 Olympic Champion in fencing shook the hand of each medalist, congratulated each of them and posed for photos.
Earlier this day Bach was received by the President of the International Luge Federation (FIL), Josef Fendt from Germany, and many members of the FIL Executive Board. They toured the "Try It" program, a small natural track built especially for the public to try the sport of luge.
