Italian top times in Vatra Dornei qualification

Vatra Dornei (PMA) – Evelin Lanthaler and Patrick Pigneter from Italy set the best times at the qualification. They are in the lead before the final competition run on Sunday at the track Bucovina at Vatra Dornei.

Lanthaler wins the women’s qualification with a stunning run. She leads with a gap of more than eight tenths of a second. Second place went to Austrian Tina Unterberger, Italian Greta Pinggera finished third ahead of Ekaterina Lavrentyeva. Michelle Diepold (AUT) and Petra Dragicevic (SLO) finished fifth and sixth.

At the men’s qualification Patrick Pigneter set the fastest time. His team mate Alex Gruber is only 2 hundredths behind him before the final run on Sunday. Third place went to Thomas Kammerlander of Austria, with a gap of 35 hundredths.
