Lake Placid (pps) Olympic Champion Armin Zöggeler performed in the team competition as well in the men’s single race at the Verizon Sports Complex at lake in the line-up with Anastasia Oberstolz-Antonova, Christian Oberstolz/Patrick Gruber. Italy captured the victory in a total time of two minutes 23.531 seconds followed by Germany (2.23.646) with Silke Kraushaar, Patric Leitner/Alexander Resch and David Möller. Third place went to USA (2.23,921) with Samantha Retrosi, Christian Niccum/Pat Quinn und Tony Benshoof.

Austria finished fourth and shares the lead in the overall standings now together with Italy, both collected 230 points. On third place are the USA (220) followed by Germany (190).
The fourth and last team competition will be held on the occasion of the Viessmann World Cup at Königssee (January 6/7, 2006).
