Altenberg (pps) Having posted a second place finish at the German national championships in Altenberg Jan Eichhorn will be ending his active luge career. The soldier who earned bronze at the 2007 Worlds and a sixth place at the 2006 Olympic Games, will now be taking courses at the Coaches Academy in Cologne in order to become a graduate luge coach.
