Winterberg (FIL/06 Jan 2024) It was a great start into the races at the EBERSPÄCHER Luge World Cup in Winterberg, presented by the women’s doubles. "I think we gave the spectators a great show", Italian Andrea Vötter summarized the two runs. The ladies improved the track record several times and the current record is now 43.496 seconds, held by Austria's Selina Egle and Lara Kipp. They moved up to third place and defended their lead in the overall standings.

However, Jessica Degenhardt and Cheyenne Rosenthal came closer with their eighth World Cup victory. But the two Germans were not without mistakes. "It was a close race," said Degenhardt, "the way we were beaten at the end, I didn't think it would be enough to win.
