Junior’s European Champions won by Verena Hofer and Pavel Repilov

Winterberg (RWH) Italy’s Verena Hofer and Pavel Repilov are the new Junior European Champions. Doubles competition was won by Max Ewald-Jakob Jannusch from Germany. Junior European Championships took place in Winterberg, Germany.

Verena Hofer relegated Germany’s Jessica Degenhardt to second place. Two weeks before, Jessica Degenhardt won silver at the Youth Olympic Games 2020. Third place went to Isabell Richter (GER) and Berzina Sigita (LAT), who clocked the same time. Pavel Repilov, younger brother of Roman Repilov, the current leader of the Viessmann Luge World Cup, won gold ahead of his team-mate Matvei Perestoronin and Florian Müller from Germany. Silver and bronze in doubles competition went to Dmitriy Buchnev/Daniil Kilseev und Mikhail Karnaukhov/Iurii Chirva (all RUS).

Team relay was won by Germany’s foursome followed by the teams of Austria and Romania.
