Berchtesgaden (RWH) The 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in Lillehammer, Norway, will be the highlight of the junior luge season. Just prior to the second ever YOG (12 to 21 February 2016), following on from the successful inaugural event in Innsbruck 2012, young lugers will compete to become Junior World Champion in Winterberg (GER) from 6-7 February 2016. Six Junior World Cups are also planned for Lillehammer (NOR), Sigulda (LAT), Königssee (GER), Innsbruck-Igls (AUT), Altenberg and Oberhof (both GER).
