Innsbruck-Igls (pps) Austria’s Junior World Champion Wolfgang Kindl won the nation’s cup on the former Olympic track at Innsbruck-Igls and realized the qualification for the Viessmann World Cup in Luge on Sunday on the same track easily. Kindl won in 49,046 seconds followed by Stefan Höhener from Switzerland and Canada’s Sam Edney.

Erin Hamlin from USA took the victory in the women’s race followed by Japan’s Madoka Harada and Germany’s Steffi Sieger.

In Doubles Mark Grimmette/Brian Martin, who won 2007 the Bronze Medal at the Worlds at Igls, took the first place followed by Germany Junior World Champions Toni Eggert/Marcel Oster and the Sics-Brothers Andris and Juris from Latvia.
