Königssee (pps) Patric Leitner/Alexander Resch celebrated on their hometrack at Königssee/Germany the 26th success in Viessmann Luge World Cup. The Olympic Champions from 2002 rare just one victory behind record winners Hansjörg Raffl/Norbert Huber from Italy, who realized 27 victories.
Leitner/Resch won in a total time of one minute 35,157 seconds followed by Italy’ Christian Oberstolz/Patrick Gruber (1:35,605) and their team-mates Sebastian Schmidt/Andre Forker (1:35,894). In the overall standings Leitner/Resch are in the lead with 470 points. On second place are Oberstolz/Gruber (455) followed by Austria’s Olympic Champions Andreas Linger/Wolfgang Linger (280).
